As chief scientist of Google and co-founder of Google Brain, Google Translate, and Gemini, Dean has made significant contributions to establishing this Internet giant’s influence as part of the global technology industry.

This marks the first time that Dean, who has been dubbed as an 'engineering god' at Google, has come to Vietnam and will be joined by world-famous experts and entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley, according to Dr. Luong Minh Thang, senior staff researcher scientist at Google DeepMind.

Jeff Dean's visit to Vietnam is expected to create a wealth of opportunities for the growing Vietnamese Artificial Intelligence (AI) community to interact with global leading experts in the field of AI.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the GenAI Summit 2024 is co-organised by the New Turing Institute (NTI), the Rethink Healthcare Foundation (RHF), and Fulbright University in collaboration with the National Innovation Center (NIC)

The conference, slated for August 18 in Ho Chi Minh City, aims to provide an ideal venue for participants to explore the latest advancements occurring in Generative AI and discuss how these technologies may reshape industries.
